This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and it’s time to show mom just how much you appreciate her. That’s why our Orlando Toyota dealership has come up with some unique ideas besides brunch to show her just how much she means to you – it’s time to celebrate!
Seven Seas Food Festival: Head to Sea World to get your fill of delicious food at the Sea World Seven Seas Food Festival! You’ll be able to sample cuisine from around the world, including Asian, Middle Eastern, Polynesian, European and Latin. You’ll also be able to sip craft brews while you check out live music (rock, country, Latin, and more!). This weekend is the last weekend of the festival, so don’t miss out. Celebrate Mom by sailing the seven seas!
Winter Park Boat Tour: Hop on board a pontoon boat and check out the Winter Park lake chain – you can soak up some sun and see historical sights while checking out the luxury homes that line the lakes. The tour is about an hour long, so plan accordingly. It’s supposed to be hot this weekend so you may want to hit the lake early in the morning or later in the afternoon to beat the heat! Tickets are $14 for adults.
Lake Eola Farmer’s Market: Looking to incorporate a little exercise into your Mother’s Day? Take a few laps around Lake Eola to see the swans (you can even hit the water in a swan boat if you really want to get adventurous) and visit the Lake Eola Farmer’s Market. There are a ton of local vendors there peddling everything from cake in a jar to fresh lemonade to homemade leather goods. Whether you want to eat, shop, or both, you’re in good hands, and you’ll also be able to check out live music while you’re there.
Blueberry picking: Southern Hill Farms is celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend by hosting blueberry picking, live music, train rides, and blueberry pancakes on Mother’s Day! Entry is free, and Sea Dog Brewery will be there as well serving up blueberry wine and beer. You can also enjoy blueberry cobbler, biscuits, and muffins if pancakes aren’t your thing. There’s something for everyone!
Leu Gardens: Admission to Leu Gardens is free for moms on May 14! You can check out over 50 acres of flora and fauna, as well as the historic houses on the property. Plus, you can bring a picnic to enjoy on the patio! The park is open 9am to 5pm, and the rose garden is in full bloom right now. Don’t miss out!
Funny Face at the Enzian: If you’d rather be inside in the air conditioning but don’t want the typical brunch experience, head over to the Enzian Theatre in Maitland. They’re showing the Audrey Hepburn classic Funny Face on the big screen, and doors open at 11am for a showing at noon. This brunch includes a buffet with a carving station, coffee, tea, juice, a complimentary mimosa, and even salon services. Hair Maiden Salon will be there to hook mom up with eyebrow waxing, bang trims, and more!
From our family to yours, happy mother’s day!
