MegaCon: Into comics, sci-fi, anime, and fantasy? Then MegaCon is the place to be this weekend! Whether you go today, tomorrow, Sunday, or all three days, this is your shot to meet and greet your favorite stars and artists as well as pick up the latest and greatest merchandise from your favorite fandom. Tickets start out at $20 for a single day pass, or you can pick up a deluxe pass for $99. There are also family passes up for grabs if you want to get the kids into comics and cosplaying. Suit up in your favorite fandom gear and head out to the Convention Center – doors open at 10am all three days!
Volcano Bay: Today marks the grand opening of Universal’s Volcano Bay water park so grab your towel and your sunscreen and head on over! You’ll be able to experience 18 different attractions, including Krakatau Water Coaster, a series of slides inside the volcano, Punga Racers, and more. You can also relax at Waturi Beachor in the Kopiko Wai Winding River, as well as take the kids to play in the Tot Tiki Reef. Tickets start at $110!
Pandora: World of Avatar: Animal Kingdom is another theme park here in Orlando that has a major attraction opening this Memorial Day Weekend – Pandora: World of Avatar opens its doors and brings to life the hit movie with incredible scenery and exciting rides. You’ll also love the refreshments up for grabs at the Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu. Tickets for admission to Animal Kingdom start at $99!
MoviEola: Trying to keep a little more low-key and tourist-free this weekend? Head to MoviEola at Lake Eola tonight to watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on the lawn. The event starts at 6pm with food up for purchase, and you can bring chairs and blankets to spread out and get comfortable before the movie starts at 8:15pm. Leashes pets are even allowed, so bring your four-legged friends along for a dose of magic, too!
Central Florida BBQ Blowout 2017: Head down to Oviedo Town Center if you want live music, hot BBQ, and sweet treats like Italian Ice and ice cream to cool down! This event is free, and proceeds go to help local organizations like Helpful Hands and The Chamber of Commerce for Oviedo-Winter Springs. Entertainment includes Michelle Lambert and Jeff Howell and the Bubba Wilson Band!
You can also check out the Country 500, Carnival, the local beaches, and so much more… and from our dealership to your family, have a safe and fun weekend!
