April Fools’ Day is finally here, pranksters! If you enjoy pranking your friends and family on this fun holiday then you’ve come to the right place. Here at Toyota of Orlando, we put together a list of nine of our favorite Fool’s Day pranks—and don’t worry, these ones are totally harmless and family-friendly so you can prank even the little ones can handle.
Let the pranks begin!
- Confused Passengers
For this first fun prank, put a sign on the back of your car without telling your passengers. When you drive around, people will be honking, waving, and confusing your out-of-the-loop travelers.
- Frozen Cereal
Whether you’re pranking your kid or your partner, if they enjoy a morning bowl of cereal this is the perfect way to prank them right at the start of their day. Put their favorite cereal with milk into the freezer overnight. In the morning they’ll clank their fork against the hard service and be so confused!
- Baked “Brown E’s”
Everyone loves a delicious fresh-baked batch of brownies. Have your unsuspecting friend flip open the tin foil of a pan to find a bunch of “brown E’s” instead of tasty, chocolatey treats. This is especially perfect for those who love a good “punny” joke.
- Balloon Surprise
This is also a really great way to start off the day on a fun note. Write “April Fools!” on a helium balloon and stick it into the toilet with the lid closed. When the person you’re pranking opens the lid in the morning, they’ll be caught off guard by the random object inside the toilet.
- Faucet Fake-Out
On a hot day here in Orlando, we can all use a nice cooling down sometimes. Put tape over parts of your kitchen faucet and have someone try turning it on. Watch them get soaked and hopefully be thankful for the refreshing splash!
- Toilet Paper Message
Unroll the toilet paper and leave your choice of a funny message on it. When the person goes to grab some they’ll be shocked to see something written on it. Anything from a simple, “hey,” to “you’re going to wash your hands, right?” would be the perfect message for this simple prank.
- Upside Down
Overnight or before your prank victim gets home, turn over a bunch of random objects around the house. This topsy-turvy trick is sure to cause some confusion.
- Time For A Prank
Another super simple, harmless prank is to change all the clocks to a later or earlier time. Since this year’s April Fools’ Day is on a Saturday, this is a perfect and easy prank to do. See how long it takes for them to notice that somethings off.
- Spray Bottle
Another way to cool down your prank victim after being in the Orlando sun is this simple squirting bottle prank. Poke tiny pinholes into a plastic water bottle using a sewing needle. Set the bottle down and when someone goes to pick it up, the pressure of their hand will cause the water to spray everywhere.
Have fun, pranksters!
From our Toyota family to yours, we hope you have an enjoyable April Fools’ Day!
