The weekend is upon us – have you planned out how you’re going to spend your precious free time yet? Our Orlando Toyota dealership has some suggestions. There’s plenty to do in the city beautiful… it’s just a matter of being able to fit it all in. Let’s take a closer look at what’s going on in Orlando this weekend!
Monster Jam: Watch the toughest monster trucks in the country take on the track – the Monster Jam is going on at Camping World Stadium this Saturday, January 21 at 7pm! However, if you head over early you can attend the pre-show Party in the Pits to meet some of the courageous stunt drivers, as well as hang around after to grab autographs. This is also the perfect opportunity to take your Orlando Toyota truck out for a tailgate in one of the surrounding lots. Tickets start at $15 for upper bowl seating!
Color in Motion 5K: Looking for a fun way to get your fitness on this weekend? Hit the Color in Motion 5K at Artegon Marketplace! It’s a 5K race where the runner gets spattered with brightly colored paints for an outstanding finish. Put on your whites and lace up – the race starts at 9am and race entries begin at $29.99. Don’t forget to check out Artegon Marketplace after the race is finished for great local artists and delicious post-race fuel!
Snow Ball: We don’t get much (any) of a white winter here in Central Florida, but you’ll get your fill of snow at the Wall Street Snow Ball. It’s a downtown Orlando block party on the famed Wall Street, and you’ll love the live music and great drink specials going on. Plus, it’ll start “snowing” at 9pm to create a winter wonderland. Remember to plan for a designated driver before you arrive! You can arrive whenever to kick off the fun, and cover is free.
A Night of Laughs: In the mood to tickle your funnybone? Check out A Night of Laughs at Orlando Improv. It’s a panel of live artists putting on a comedy showcase, and the theatre also serves plenty of refreshments. The showcase begins at 6pm at the downtown theatre and tickets are $12.
Dinosaur Invasion: Get outside this weekend and take the kids along with you – it’s the Dinosaur Invasion at Harry P. Leu Gardens! You’ll be able to walk the beautiful gardens and check out incredible plant sculptures from the land before time. The gardens open at 9am and remain open until 5pm, and the entry cost is $10.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend – get out and explore our city beautiful!
