We’re pretty pumped that the new section of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is finally open – Diagon Alley is up and running, and you can drop into shops like:
- Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes
- The Leaky Cauldron
- Gringotts Bank
- Florean Fortescues’ Ice Cream Parlor
- Madam Malkin’s Robes
- The Magical Menagerie
- Quality Quidditch Supplies
- Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment
And more! You can even brave Knockturn Alley and pay a visit to Borgin and Burkes, but be on the lookout for Malfoy and gang!
Which new Scion in Orlando would you use to visit Harry’s world?
We got so excited about the grand opening of Diagon Alley that we started thinking – if you could take a new Toyota or new Scion in Orlando into Harry’s world, which ones would fare best? We’ve got some suggestions, so let us know what you think!
2015 Scion FR-S: If you have a need for speed but no place to ride your broomstick outside of the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts, you may want to consider taking this new Scion sports car for a spin. The Orlando Scion FR-S has a flat 2.0L 4-cylinder Boxer engine to offer you 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. It’s also a rear-wheel drive set up, so you’ve got a lot of get-up-and-go behind the wheel if you like to get moving. The 2015 Scion FR-S is also decked out with tons of sporty accessories and features, like sport pedals, sport bucket front seats that have bright red stitching, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel!
2015 Toyota Yaris: Sliding in and out of narrow streets in Muggle London can be a challenge, but the new Toyota Yaris in Orlando makes it a whole lot easier. It’s compact and a hatchback design, and has a turning circle diameter of about 31 feet (which means major maneuverability). It also measures just under 13 feet in length, so finding parking when you’re making your way to the REAL Diagon Alley is a snap. Oh, and did we mention it’s affordable? This new Toyota kicks off at just over $14,000, so you’ll have plenty of Galleons left over for a new set of quills and maybe even an upgraded broomstick!
Pack up the 2014 Scion xB and head to term!
2015 Scion xB: Students usually take the Hogwarts Express to get to term, but if you’re hitting the road in a new Scion instead, the Orlando Scion xB is definitely a solid bet. While you won’t be able to fit all the Weasleys inside, you can seat up to five and have plenty of room left for trunks and Quidditch gear in the back – this new Scion is boasting almost 12 cubic feet of rear cargo space and also has an underfloor storage tray and a large center console for extra storage. Plus, this Orlando Scion has a ton of cool Muggle gadgets, like cruise control, remote keyless entry, and a 6.1 inch touchscreen audio interface!
Ready to pack your trunk and head to Hogwarts? Do it in an affordable new Scion in Orlando, or hit the road in a new Toyota! We’ve got plenty of both, so come on down and see us… we’re located at 3575 Vineland Road, just off I-4 near the Millenia Mall!
