New Scion in Orlando are perfect solutions for the cast of New Girl
We’re pretty big fans of the show New Girl over here at our Toyota Scion dealership in Central Florida, and we got to thinking – if the stars of the show chose to drive a member of the Scion family, which ones would they choose? We took a stab at matching up some of the characters with our new Scion options… see what YOU think Jess and the gang would choose to put in their parking garage!
Jessica Day: We love Jess – she’s definitely the breath of fresh air on the show with her quirky personality and sweet nature. We think she’d do great in an Orlando Scion iQ – it’s compact (about ten feet from bumper to bumper) and maneuverable, which makes it a great option for Jess’ city lifestyle. It’s also pretty fuel-efficient, getting 36 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway (which means Jess wouldn’t have to hit up Schmidt for rent money anymore). Plus, it’s quirky and unique, just like Jess – we think it’s a perfect fit!
Which New Girl character would drive the 2014 Scion FR-S?
Schmidt: Schmidt is all about style, substance, and a flashy lifestyle, which is why we’d definitely put him in the driver’s seat of a 2014 Scion FR-S in Orlando. It’s a sports car that’s got the knack for turning heads with its eye-catching looks and super-sporty performance, but it’s also affordable enough to not break Schmidt’s bank (it has a starting MSRP of $25,255). Plus, it’s also decked out with great technology on the inside and you have the option of upgrading the audio system to a BeSpoke Premium Audio System, which means social media connectivity… talk about right up Schmidt’s alley! We also think this new Scion would be a great fit for supermodel CeCe Parekh!
Nick Miller: Nick isn’t quite as flashy as Schmidt and definitely wouldn’t be a fit for the Scion iQ, but we think we found a solid option for him, too – the 2014 Scion tC in Orlando! It’s sporty and aggressive looking, but not quite as sleek as the Scion FR-S. It’s also roomy inside with the capability to seat five, and offers a nod-worthy performance; you’ll get 179 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque coming from the engine bay. However, it’s still fuel-efficient, offering 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway to make sure Nick can still make his monthly budget if tips at Clyde’s Bar aren’t as stellar as usual!
