Will the 2014 Toyota Corolla in Orlando look like the Furia?

Toyota Furia concept car

Toyota recently unveiled a new concept car at the Detroit Auto Show this week – the Toyota Corolla Furia! While a concept car is just that – it’s not a model that’s available for the public to purchase and buy – there have been rumors that the 2014 Toyota Corolla in Orlando will mimic some of the design elements of the super stylish Furia. Toyota of Orlando certainly hopes so – if you haven’t checked out the new Furia, here’s your chance! This incredible concept car takes the original Toyota Corolla in Orlando and amps up the sporty style exponentially – if the 2014 model looks anything like it, we know that it’ll be flying off the lot the second it arrives.

New Toyota Corolla Furia brings serious style to the equation

The Furia concept car sits lower to the ground, which gives it a more aggressively sporty look (don’t believe us? Check out the new Scion FR-S in Orlando if you need proof!). This look is further enhanced by a shorter hood than normal, as well as a a more sloped roofline. The Furia also sits on much bigger wheels – while the original Orlando Toyota Corolla generally sits on 15 or 16 inch wheels, the Furia rides on 19 inch wheels. It makes a huge difference in the overall appearance of the car, and while that’s not practical for the 2014 model, it certainly opens the door for larger wheel options in general!

new ToyotaThe Furia also includes a two-toned paint design – it comes in a bright, smoky orange color that’s actually quite similar to the Hot Lava color found on many new Scion in Orlando. This hue is accented by carbon fiber along the bottom, which is a dark contrast to the orange color. In short, it looks AWESOME. The Furia also has a blacked out grill that’s larger and more prominent, as well as LED headlights. The rear taillights are arrow-shaped that add a hint of creativity to the back of the car (as well as draw more attention – they look seriously cool). This new Toyota even features a longer wheelbase by almost four inches, which enhances its style even further!

What will the 2014 Toyota Corolla offer?

While we won’t be seeing the Furia in Central Florida anytime soon, Toyota of Orlando is excited to see what the 2014 model of the Toyota Corolla brings to the table! We have a feeling it’ll pull ideas from the Furia; this new Toyota hasn’t seen a total redesign since 2009, and Toyota has promised incredible things for the next model year. It’s all speculation up to this point, but our Toyota dealership in Central Florida will be sure to keep you posted as the details emerge!
