The all-electric Toyota Rav4 EV
The 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV is an electric vehicle that Toyota co-developed with Tesla, a major guru in the engineering field. This all-electric sibling to the Orlando Toyota RAV4 gets an impressive estimated driving range rating of 100 miles; it takes about 6 hours to charge (on a 240V charger), and will be equipped with Normal and Sport power settings! The new 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV will have a starting MSRP of $49,800 at our Toyota dealership in Central Florida. While this may seem pricey, drivers have to take into account the fact that they’ll be saving enormous amounts of money on fuel costs, and may be eligible for federal and state incentives for purchasing and operating such an environmentally-sensitive vehicle.
As mentioned, the 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV in Central Florida will be equipped with Normal and Sport driving settings. The Normal setting will top you out at a speed of 85mph, and Sport will get you up to 100mph. It also features two charging modes – when you give it a “standard” charge, you can drive up to 92 miles. If you charge it in the “extended” setting, you can make your trip a bit longer – up to 113 miles on a single charge. The Orlando Toyota RAV4 EV easily slides past competition, offering longer driving on a single charge than competitors like the Ford Focus EV, Chevy Volt, and Honda Fit EV!
